"Goodsway Moorings"
A tiny community on the canal adjacent to Kings Cross station, "Goodsway Moorings" consisted of a handful of boat dwellers, some of whom had been residents for more than twenty years. Following a long dispute with the Kings Cross Central Developers, residents were given a three-month notice to vacate the moorings to make way for the regeneration of the area (Central St Martins College of Art & Design is set to move there in 2010). This series of photographs was taken over two days on the eve of the last residents' departure in December 2007. Commissioned by Central St Martins, the series is now part of the College archives.
